These were all my own photographs I took at Kew Gardens, drawn and then painted using watercolours and brusho inks as well as pen and ink. To the left is an image from my sketch book, using Brusho paints to make it look like they were contained in a box, similar to that of collection boxes and Joseph Cornell's work. What I wanted to focus on with this piece are my painting skills in recreating the paintings as closely to the actual image. This took around 5 hours to complete with the dimensions of the image as a whole being A3.
